Are you waiting for email notifications that never arrive? Like, did you forget your password and try to get reset instructions but they never arrived? Are you getting submissions on your form but not receiving an email notification that someone submitted one? Did you sign up for appointment alerts or calendar alerts that never arrive?
If this is the case, then there's a good chance the issue could be with your email account, if your email is set up through a personalized domain. When we investigate this issue, what we see most of the time is that we have received a blockage notification on our servers for your email domain that contains any of a number of different errors. What this means is that there is something wrong in the way the email account was set up with the domain name provider; usually that the DNS records are incorrect.
Whitelisting no-reply@contactme.com by adding it to your email address book may also help ensure notifications are received.
If you are experiencing this issue, before you contact us for help it is suggested that you contact your domain name provider to find out how to get the records updated appropriately. We can delete the blockage notification from our server and subsequently the notifications should come through just fine. However, if the error still exists that caused the blockage in the first place, there is a very strong possibility they will get blocked again. We suggest doing this first because we'll advise you to do that anyway, and getting information from your provider will either a) fix the problem the quickest or b) rule out that the issue is with your domain provider allowing US to resolve the problem quicker.
In the mean time, you can change the email address on your account until you can get the issue fixed with your existing email address. That way you won't lose any more notification emails.
As always, if you need us we're here!
